This week I wrote the entire May newsletter for the TidalHealth Seniors Program. Megan Koester, the director of the TidalHealth Seniors program, let me choose what time to send out the newsletter based on past views. She explained how TidalHealth is trying to increase the viewership for it newsletter. I chose a 9 a.m. release time, because it was different from the mid-mornings and afternoon posts. While this did not necessarily do better, it did teach me it’s important for businesses to monitor posting times to increase viewership.

I also attended a Millsboro HealthFest event planning session, which I watched Roger attend, and I got to see all the preparation that goes into community events and outreach for a second time.

This was also Megan’s last week before going on leave. She taught me how to help TidalHealth volunteers when she was gone and gave me several tasks to complete during my last two weeks: medical professional feature articles and a HealthFocus article assigned by CFO Chris Hall. I’m so grateful for all that Megan has taught me. She has been a huge resource and inspiration to me while interning at TidalHealth. She’s helped me improve my writing, and I’m so thankful to have had her as a mentor.

Sample Work: I've attached the May Newsletter I wrote this week. This took a couple hours. All other work completed this week were emails, research and attending the May HealthFest Planning Meeting.
